Empire State Eid!

The Empire State Building is going to be illuminated in green for the next three days to commemorate Eid. First time in history. Sweet gesture, really, in a city constantly preaching tolerance but still has people demonizing Arabs and hanging noose s outside black professors' doors.

So yeah...Eid tomorrow!!! Forget the negativities for now - HAPPY EID TO YOU ALL!
